Make sure you’re really engaging your legs and lead from the chest rather than the head. Before Gabe it took me about 10 years to build a positive relationship with this pose and now I feel like I’m starting all over again. Carrying and breastfeeding him has made my whole back much stiffer and so the self care I’m practicing is #patience and #compassion because I really want everything to feel like it did before pregnancy if I’m being completely honest.
