Please read! * I offer donation-based online yoga classes bi-monthly to benefit organizations that I think are doing important work for the country and the world. * I am offering a benefit yoga class online next Monday, September 4th. Initially, this was to benefit the SPLC (southern poverty law center) but in light of the devastation in Houston due to Hurricane Harvey, I am now donating proceeds to local Houston charities supporting the rescue and relief efforts there. * We were spared the major devastation of Harvey where I live in Texas, but much of Houston is underwater. Rescue and relief efforts are ongoing. Houston is the 4th largest metropolitan area in the country with over 2.3 million residents. The devastation is catastrophic and the number of people affected is immense. The worst might still be yet to come. * Please join me for this practice and help me support my fellow Texans in this horrific tragedy. We’ll practice some hip openers, twists, seated poses, and one sneaky arm balance. Modifications will be offered for all levels of yogi. All levels of yogi are welcome. * If you unable to attend live, the class will be recorded and sent to you within 24hrs. The class is donation-based. Suggested donation is $20 but all donations will be welcome and accepted. Proceeds will go to Portlight and the Coalition for the Homeless, and if I have enough, The Texas Diaper Bank * The link to sign-up is in my profile. And please spread the word!
