August 16, 2019INSTAGRAM POST: I almost never post advertisements on my pages but this one feels personally really important. If you’ve taken a class with me in the past year you may have experienced a change in my approach to the physical yoga practice. This month last year I had my first real time conversation with Annie Adamson of @primalvinyasa She and I have similar yoga training roots but live on opposite sides of the country. I started following her on Instagram and knew immediately that I had found a training that was speaking to a growing voice inside me that sensed it was time to shift my own physical practice and approach to teaching. Today I got off the phone with her recognizing a year of deep inquiry and practice has resulted in being certified as a Primal Vinyasa Ambassador. I have so many things to say about the clarity, efficacy and high standards that Annie brings to this program. And it is embedded in a philosophy of deep listening, observing and holding compassionate space for everyone. After 15 years of teaching yoga I can finally say that I’m confident in how I offer the embodied practices of presence, movement and seeing the unique beauty in all bodies. Going through this training without a doubt plays a huge role in that perspective shift. If anyone is curious or has questions don’t hesitate to ask me or reach out to Annie and her team personally. #movementisyourbirthright #primalvinyasa #primalvinyasatraining #gratitude
