August 7, 2016INSTAGRAM POST: So inspired by all the mamas out there sharing their #brelfie pics for #worldbreastfeedingweek. Like many other moms my initial experience was difficult because my son had a lip tie and tongue tie that had to be corrected before #breastfeeding became remotely tolerable. Now we make a good team but in the beginning there was a fair amount of tears on both our parts. My husband and some wonderful friends @conscioushealthymama @laurenashoemaker were so supportive as was my local @lalecheleagueusa plus a fantastic lactation consultant that when my confidence waned I knew I had a team I could count on. I’m happy to say this dude is not having any problems staying fed today! Sending support to all the mamas that are or have struggled with breastfeeding. Whatever route you choose just remember to lean on your support team and trust that whatever ends up happening, #fedisbest #internationalbreastfeedingweek #normalizebreastfeeding #nursing #motherhood
